25-Dec-23 (John 1:1-14)

Our great example, the one whom we follow and try to be like, is Jesus, because Jesus shows us the face of God in a human being. Jesus gave of himself that we would know the love of God for all people.
We have an opportunity to be a part of sharing that love.
Our gifts of our financial resources and our time and our abilities help the Church to share the Good News, to help others who are in need, and to help us learn how to be more like Jesus.
Consider how much you can give to the work of the Church as we take up our offering for today.

Please join me in prayer.
God, who made your love known to us in Jesus, help us to make your love known to the world. Use these gifts and use us in the work of the Church. Help us to be a part of your presence here on Earth.
