6-Apr-25 (John 12:1-8)

When Mary washed Jesus' feet, it was a loving act of service. An act prompted by her love for him and to honor him. In the same way, we have opportunities to give of what we have to honor Jesus and to show what he means to us, to also share the love he taught us with others in our world.
The deacons are about to come forward and take up our offering for today. Consider what you can give to honor Jesus and share the love he taught us.

Prayer:

Please join me in a spirit of prayer.
God who shows us your love in countless ways and taught us how to love in the acts of Jesus, we give these gifts back to you that those who receive them can know about you and your love for all people. Bless them and use them in the best ways possible.
Use us as well, that we can live out your love and grace in the parts of the world that we touch. Help us to use our gifts and talents as you use this offering, in the best ways possible.
We pray in the name of Jesus, our Savior, Amen.
