12-May-24 (John 17:6-19)

Jesus tells his disciples the just as God sent Jesus into the world, Jesus sends us. What do you think we should do as we are sent into the world? [wait for answers]
The main thing, I'd say, is to share God's love for all people by loving all people. Just like Jesus loved everyone, especially those who are left out and forgotten. You've probably seen people like that. Maybe it's the one you see always sitting by themselves while others are playing together. Maybe it's the one whose clothes are old and worn. Maybe it's the one who speaks differently. These are all people that Jesus loves and who we should show love to as well.
Let's talk to God about that.
God, we thank you that you give us Jesus to show us how much you love us and to show us how to love others. Help us to especially remember the people who are left out and forgotten; to show your love for them.
