DisciplesNet Worship #291, “Frog Kissing” (Shaw 02.21.2016)

Looking under logs and kissing frogs....believe it or not, Pastor Bob Shaw stirs such an image together this week with Jesus looking up and calling out to Zacchaeus-- who happened to be up in a tree at that moment. Following Jesus is many things--but rarely boring!
Our preaching scripture today comes from the Gospel of Luke, 19:1-10, joining some extra special songs (that we hope you sing along with), prayer, our message---and special today, an inspiring devotion by a special long time DisciplesNet worker-encourager.
Worship today is just over 30 minutes long, designed for you to join as works for you, in worship, song, prayer, our message, and communion. We hope that you'll be blessed by worshiping with DisciplesNet, finding ways your own faith in God can grow in theses trying times.
As we do every week, our closing moments together include a time of communion (breaking of the bread). We invite you to participate if you would like with some type of actual bread and drink you supply, or these elements held in your mind. You may also meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me."

We hope that as you join us for worship you will feel a blessing from being part. Please tell friends, family, and others you know about our online church that is here with doors that are always open, walls as wide as the world, and always room at the table.
