DisciplesNet Worship # 44, “Great Confession,” (Perkins, 08-21-11)
Our Worship #44 takes a look at the "Great Confession" of Peter and how the understanding of this confession brings believers and the church to changed lives of discipleship. DisciplesNet pastor Anj Perkins brings the inspiring message on this topic.
This worship has a generous helping of music, sung for DisciplesNet Church by Phoebe Spier with Dean Phelps singing backup harmony. Sing along on favorites, "Sanctuary," "You are My All in All," "You are Merciful to Me." We also offer the chance to sing along with the Nashville General Assembly congregation on "Lead Me, Guide Me."
Scripture passages for today, all in NRSV, are Romans 12:1-8, John 11: 25-27, and Matthew 16:13-20.
We hope you will be blessed by worshiping along with us.
We love feedback and comments. This can be added to our DisciplesNet website at disciplesnet.org, or by writing an email topastor@disciplesnet.org, or a personal note to the address given below.

What is DisciplesNet?
DisciplesNet is a new and growing church (and nonprofit organization for tax purposes) with the Indiana Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The red chalice of the Disciples symbolizes their welcome to all people, and the open table. Disciples are known for maintaining an open table to all Christ invites, and ecumenical work in healing and cooperation among denominations and people of faith.
DisciplesNet is particularly designed for persons who may be kept by barriers and boundaries from attending a physical church, or those who would like that extra spiritual boost during the week.
Donations are greatly appreciated and are empowering this grassroots ministry to expand and grow, now including viewers in 68 countries.

The beautiful coastal photographs are the work of Dave Alexander of Emerald Coast Reflections (emeraldcoastreflections) and gratefully used with his permission for uplifting God's work in our worship videos. Somehow Dave is able to capture the treasure of God's majesty and a sense of the divine in nature like nobody else can.
