DisciplesNet Worship # 56 (Phelps 11 20 11)
Welcome to our worship which recognizes our one year anniversary and thanksgiving.
DisciplesNet Worship #56, "What God Can't Do" (Phelps, 11-20-2011).
This week's worship takes a look at Jesus' parable of the talents with Deb Phelps, senior minister, looking at the answer to the question, "What can't God do?" This is set into a atmosphere of praise and thanksgiving at DisciplesNet's one year anniversary, and in celebration of the United States time of offering thanksgiving.
On this worship we introduce the uplifting song, "There's So Much to Be Thankful For," written by songwriter and DisciplesNet Associate Pastor Rev. Dr. Audrey Borschel. Beginning on the second verse watch carefully for photos that are our way of giving thanks to God from and for our DisciplesNet family. The photos are in approximate order of when each joined or have helped with our ministry over the year. In order, look for our ministry team and some of our featured preachers, musicians, and Board of Directors. We express gratitude for the body of Christ symbolically in the photo of the Net--which represents to us the network of those who work together in following Christ. And our DisciplesNet sheep serve as reminders of the flock that makes up the congregation of DisciplesNet. We have tried to include everyone in some way, because all of you who are involved with DisciplesNet are important to us.
Our music includes "Great is Thy Faithfulness," "Lord, Listen to your Children Praying," and "Give Thanks."
As always, thank you so much for worshipping with us at DisciplesNet Church as we continue finding ways to connect in the name of Jesus Christ.
