DisciplesNet Worship # 91, “Will There Be Time?” (Allen 07.01.2012)
Welcome to DisciplesNet Worship!
Our worship #91 sees the return of Dr. Ronald J. Allen, professor of Preaching and Gospel & Letters at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis Dr. Allen is also an ordained Disciples of Christ minister, clergy spouse, and a prolific writer of scholarly works about the Bible and preaching. To us Dr. Allen brings his scholarly expertise, minister's heart, and the leading of the Spirit in this message of hope.
A second gift on this video is the gift of Rev. Dr. Twana A. Harris, who sings from the Spirit the song of lament, "Sometimes I Just Can't Keep from Crying."
Add to this our pastoral prayer by Russ Smith and communion meditation by Rev. Bob Shaw and prayer by Rev. Blanche Edwards, as well as photos and video from around the world. We hope this offering to you will help you find a place of worship and inspiration as you join us.
We hope you will join us for this short time of worship (35 minutes), and will be blessed by participating. Please tell friends, family, and others you know about our online church that is here with doors that never close, walls as wide as the world, and always room at the table.
If you would like to chat with one of our pastors, please email us at pastor@disciplesnet.org.
