What happens when you get musicians together with different spoken languages, but they both love God and singing God's praises? You will see that here: they get along just fine. This video is fun to watch unfold, as you see the musicians discover a common language and have a great time sharing in song together.
This video was taken at the DisciplesNet Church office, with Rev. Dean Phelps and visiting ministry partners from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rev. Ilumbe Ndjongo and Oskar Pemkombe (Disciples of Christ in Congo), summer of 2012. The song that they end up singing in Lingala is, in English, Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah.
