On March 16, 2016 the world lost a great man of faith. Jim Eads worked humbly and tirelessly in giving to the world. He especially saw his gift to encourage and build others up so they could develop their unique talents and grow in their faith and walk with Christ.

Jim was also an encourager of DisciplesNet Church, helping in many different ways. Then in February 2016, he knew that his days were short due to a brain tumor that medicine was unable to stop. He called us so he could read one more scripture from the Bible and say a few words of encouragement that would live on. This video shares Jim's words, as well as some earlier scripture readings he had made for DisciplesNet projects.
The final scene is from Southport Christian Church (Indianapolis, Indiana, USA), where Jim devoted countless hours. Here Jim is at his regular seat playing drums with the praise band as Dean Phelps provides vocals to Precious Memories.
