7-January-24 (Mark 1:4-11)

As we remember both Jesus' baptism and our own today, we consider what it means to dedicate our lives to serving God and others in the way of Jesus. One of the things it means is supporting this congregation through our abilities, our time, and our financial resources.
Let's consider how we can do that as we take up today's offering.

Prayer:

God, who sent us Jesus to show us how to live lives dedicated to you, bless these gifts that we return to you and use them in your work. Use us as well to share the Good News of your love for all people, to meet the needs of others, and to help people learn the way of Christ.
We pray in the name of Jesus, our Christ, AMEN
