At Easter we celebrate the final victory: the power of God's love is greater than any other power, even the power of sin and death. There are those among us and around us, who need to see the power of that love in ways they can touch. There are people without food, or clothing, or shelter. There are those who are suffering and sick. There are those who are hurting and terrified. All of them need to see that the power of God's love addresses their needs right now as well as into eternity.
Our offering goes to support the work of teaching and speaking the love of God and also to those many, many ways we can address the needs of people right here among us, in our community, and in the wider world.
Please consider giving generously, that this vital way of sharing God's love continues and flourishes.

Please join me now in a spirit of prayer.
God, whose love is greater than the power of sin and death, help us to be instruments of sharing that love in word and deed. Let us touch the dark corners of our world and bring life, and health, and peace.
Bless these offerings, that they will be used in that work, that the people who receive from them will recognize through them that Christ is risen. He is risen indeed.
