10-Nov-24 (Mark 12:28-34)

To love God with all our being and to love others as we do ourselves takes concrete action. We need to put actions to our words. How will the world know of God's love for all people if we don't share that news? How will the poor and suffering know of God's love for them if we don't help them in their need?
We show God's love in action and that takes giving of ourselves, our time and our abilities, as well as sharing our resources.
And here comes a time when we can do that very thing.
As we take up our offering for today, think about all the ways you can be a part of sharing God's love by what we do.

Prayer:

Please join me now in prayer.
God, we thank you for all the ways you show us your love. We pray for ourselves, that you would use us, our abilities, our time, and our resources, to share that love.
Bless these gifts as well, returned to your hand. Use them to support the work of your Church right here, in our community, and in the world.
We pray in the name of Jesus, our Christ, Amen.
