Prayer is one of the most important parts of our spiritual life, but how do we do it? Pastor Bob speaks to us from Romans 8:26-39 and shows us how prayer can be effective.
Our worship service is just over 29 minutes of prayer, some favorite hymns, teaching, and communion.
You may choose to participate, or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water. The coming of the Holy Spirit marks the birthday of the Church as well. Pastor Russ speaks to us from the story of Pentecost from Acts 2:1-21 about how the Spirit's coming and the power that created the Church can be a reality in our lives today.

"Are you the one who has come to save the world?"  the people asked the little boy.       His answer comes on the heels of our celebration of Christmas --and now, Jesus' first steps as he begins the ministry we read about in the New Testament.
Along the way this worship we'll visit John the Baptist in the wilderness and pay a visit to him in the Jordan River, where the Holy Spirit descends like a dove upon a special One whom John baptizes, and we talk about Epiphany of God's presence in the world. Continue reading →
