The Gift of Pentecost

Welcome to our 12-minute "Gift of Pentecost," with song, scripture, and a trip around the world you'll not soon forget. After our volunteers read the Acts 2:1-2 scripture about the birth of the church at Pentecost, we'll begin our trip around the world, with multiple generations of readers in 17 world languages reminding us of Jesus' Great Commandment (John 13:34-35), "A new commandment I give to you: Love one another."
All this is set to music of "The Gift of Love," with chances to sing-along in-between the readings. Wait for the ending, which we hope will give a sense what it might have been like for Jesus' followers that first Pentecost as a new church--and the message we have to share with the world today in our own languages.
